A yoga class without an inversion is…
… like coconut water without coconuts.
The aim of this 2,5 hour workshop is to learn and refine Salamba Sirsasana (headstand), Salamba Sarvangasana (Shoulderstand), Pincha Mayurasana (forearm stand), Adho Mukha Vrksasana (handstand) and Viparita Karani (legs up the wall).
These inversions are embedded in a vinyasa class, from where we will zoom into the inversions mentioned above, and finishing class with gentle restorative poses.
In a playful way we will address a wide range of possible modifications on how safely and mindfully to approach the inversions. Together we will analyse and playfully move through all the progressive steps you need to build on/up a safe and fear free foundation.
This workshop is ideal for students ...
... who feel stuck to the wall
... who are afraid of coming up in the centre of the room
... who are curious about dissecting the different stages that lead to the inversion.
... who love to refine their inversion practice
Come and play.
All levels are welcome.
